According to their use in a sentence all the words in English are divided in to 8 parts they are call parts of speech.

Noun: A noun is word related to a person a place, an animal, or a thing.
Note: Things we see, we hear, we smell, we taste, and we think are nouns.
Eg: Abraham Lincoln, Mother Teresa, Mumbai, London, Elephant, Lion, Camera, Book, Sky, music, perfume, Apple, Idea.
Pronoun: A Pronoun is word used instead of a noun.
Eg: I, we, you, you, he, she, it, they.
Sachin Tendulkar is a former Indian cricketer. He has the highest number of runs in bot Test cricket and One Day Internationals. He also has the highest number of centuries in both formats of the game. He recently retired from all forms of cricket, with his last Test match being played against the West Indies.
Verb: A verb denotes an action, a condition, or a position (doing, being, having).
Eg: People speak English in many countries.
We are quite happy today
They were very poor once.
Adjective: A word that qualifies or describes(like quality, size, colour) a noun or a pronoun is called an adjective.
Eg: Mumbai is a crowded city.
I have two sisters.
Most boys lie to play cricket.
That girl is very lazy.
Adverb: A word that modifies an adjective or a verb or another adverb is called an adverb. It also modifies phrases and even whole sentences.
Eg: He speaks softly.
He is extremely clever.
Raju cycles very carefully.

Preposition: Preposition is always used before a noun or pronoun and it shows its relation with the other words in the sentence.
Eg: I spoke to the manager yesterday.
The accident occurred above the bridge.
My brother attended the marriage on behalf of our family.
Conjunction: A conjunction combines two separate clauses.
Eg: A snake and an eagle always fight each other.
You can prepare either for clerical test or a PO test.
Thought he worked hard, he could not score good marks.
She was sick yesterday so she could not attend the function.
Interjection: An interjection expresses some strong or sudden feelings.
Eg: Ah!, Oh!, bravo!, hurrah!
